DEBATES AND Q&A SESSIONS Jigsaw Debate |
Jigsaw.com features an online directory of more than 7 million business cards and says it is causing "disruptive change in the way corporate information is gathered." Its members, including many recruiters, buy and sell contact information on people -- who may not have given permission to be contacted.
Jigsaw can be valuable -- but is it ethical? Who's responsible for protecting people's privacy -- Jigsaw, or the recruiter who uses Jigsaw?
Jim Fowler, Jigsaw's CEO, as well as Susan Pierce, of the non-profit organization PrivacyActivism, will discuss these privacy puzzles in a friendly but illuminating debate. Dennis Smith, a recruiting leader known for his wirelessjobs.com blog, will moderate.
